Is there a debate club or something of the sort that I am missing? If not, um, why? And could I get some help to start one if that's a possibility?

I think it's called Toast Masters or something like that

Thomas Magnusson 10 months ago

Hi Evan, I would check out Toastmasters. While not strictly debate, it practices public speaking skills that are invaluable. http://clubs.marist.edu/toastmasters/ We also have a Model UN club, which might be more in line with debate http://clubs.marist.edu/unclub/

How long will it take for a decision to be made about a parking ticket appeal?

Hi Victoria, it typically takes a few days for a decision to be made, however we're in a transitional period where our Chief Justice and the Justice board are being appointed tomorrow, Oct 3. They will need a few days to get logged into the system, but after that your appeal should be processed.

Justin DiBiase from Marist Student Government Association

Hi, have you tried contacting maintenance to follow up with them or schedule an appointment to get it fixed? We are looking into new systems to file a maintenance report and schedule a repair and track it’s progress.

The current base dining hall plan for housing should increased or the amount of thrifty should be increased moderately. Students who are low income and don't recieve financial support go hungry towards the end of the semester.
