Student Government Advisor
Robin Diller Torres has been a member of the Marist Community for 24 years. In her current role as Assistant Dean of Student Engagement & Leadership, Robin is responsible for the oversight of the Offices of First Year Programs and Student Activities, Orientation, Emerging Leaders, Student Government, and other strategic initiatives in the division of Student Affairs. Robin has served as an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the School of Communication and the Arts since 1996. Prior positions at Marist include Director of the Office of Judicial Affairs, Director of the Center for Advising and Academic Services, and Director of Annual Giving. Robin received her Bachelor of Arts in Literature from SUNY Purchase and Masters of Arts in Psychology from Marist College. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a Gallup certified Executive Strengths Coach, and she holds an Advanced Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University. In 2000, Robin co-authored Community Psychology: A commonsense approach to mental health.
